Ana grew up in Jacksonville and has lived in the Beaches area for the last 18 years. She received her graduate degree from the University of Florida in 1999 and worked initially as a certified nurse-midwife. She then specialized in Women's Health and Bio-identical Hormone Replacement therapy, and more recently developed her scope further by integrating Primary Care with a functional medicine approach. She enjoys spending time with her patients and getting to know them. The holistic approach she takes focuses on finding the root problem of a symptom or condition.
She created A New Way Healthcare to provide a place where women can have all their health needs met on a schedule and time frame that is convenient for them. She understands the work-life balance necessary for a healthy life, raising her 3 boys with her husband in Atlantic Beach. Ana loves traveling, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
Meg Corrigan
Nurse Practitioner
Meg Corrigan, APRN, FNP-BC has over 27 years in nursing, the last 10 as a primary care nurse practitioner. Meg graduated from Florida State University and has a Masters degree from the University of North Florida. She has a diverse background in nursing including cardiac, oncology, antepartum and surgery. However, she has found her true home as a primary care NP!
Her focus is on achieving health outcomes that are individualized to the unique needs of each patient. In this industry where “wellness” can be a buzzword, Meg believes that we are all more than a lab value or a number on a scale and that true health can be achieved at all ages and sizes. There is no one size fits all or one number that defines a patient. Working toward habit changes from a multidisciplinary approach is key to long term success.
Meg has been a long time Beaches resident. She is married and has a 19 year old daughter, Rose.
Susan Smith
Nurse Practitioner
Susan Smith, APRN, FNP-BC, is an experienced, board-certified family nurse practitioner, practicing in the primary care arena for over 25 years. Susan graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 1994 before moving to Jacksonville, and in 1998 went on to obtain her masters in nursing with a specialization in family practice at the University of Florida.
She knows the great responsibility that comes with the profession of healthcare. She strives to deliver compassionate, comprehensive care to each of her patients. As a seasoned nurse practitioner, Susan is well adept in the care of both acute and chronic health conditions, as well as providing annual wellness examinations addressing health care maintenance needs pertinent to age. She has witnessed firsthand the frustrating changes occurring in the traditional health care model, including barriers to patient access, time constraints resulting in hurried visits, and crippling provider burnout. Susan is thrilled to now have the luxury of time with her patients, which ultimately correlates with a more positive health care experience for those under her care. It is so important to know, like and trust your healthcare provider. As the newest member of the ‘A New Way Healthcare’ team, she looks forward to meeting each of you and partnering in working towards better health.
Susan and her husband have called Jacksonville home since 1994, raising their four children here. She currently lives in Ponte Vedra Beach. Susan loves traveling, anything animals (just ask her), and spending time with her family and friends.
